Resources accept pay increase

BBC Resources members have accepted a 2.5% pay increase for 2006-2007.

Of those responding to a consultative ballot 64% voted to accept the increase, which will be applied from the April payroll.

The increase will apply to all departments in Resources: Post Production, Studios, Costume & Wig and TV Outside Broadcasts.

The union negotiating team did not recommend acceptance of the offer - but said that it did "not think it is such a bad offer that it should be rejected".
